About Coffee Reading
As far as history goes, coffee reading started in Turkey in the 16th century. This type of coffee leaves a thick and muddy sediment at the bottom of the cup. If you swirl the cup and turn it upside down, the grounds will slither down and begin to form shapes and patterns. Coffee grounds’ meaning became available after decoding certain shapes that people started seeing in their cups.
Tasseography is the academic term for Turkish coffee fortune telling. The images and shapes created with the coffee grounds give insight into your future. Coffee readers are able to interpret the patterns in the coffee cup. They tell the person about past, present and future happenings in their life.
